REILLY Cycle Works has three founders Damon Fisher, Neil FitzGerald and master frame builder Mark Reilly. Mark has established himself as one of the UK's pre-eminent British bicycle designers having created many hugely successful frame models/designs for brands such as Omega and Enigma. Carbon specialist Neil FitzGerald joins us from F1 and the award-winning Damon Fisher is our graphic and product designer/director. Mark, Neil, and Damon have been friends for many years and their experience and talent combine to make REILLY the beautiful brand that it is. Our HQ is in cosmopolitan Brighton on the South Coast of the UK. 2015 has seen the addition to our team of master frame builder, Adrian Parry, formerly of Roberts cycles, with over 30 years experience his skills are un-surpassed Reilly Frames are made from carbon, steel,  stainless steel and titanium and almost all are custom made. We started out life as Nerve bicycles but so many customers asked for Mark's name on our frames and bikes we decided to change the brand to Reilly Cycle Works, nothing else changes.

Reynolds invented tube butting in 1898 – to reduce weight safely. This mechanical engineering process is still used over 114 years later in lightweight bike frames. Reynolds was the first to introduce 531, a highly alloyed steel in 1935, and the first heat-treated steel  (753) to the industry in 1976. Remaining innovative, we also use 3-2.5 and 6-4 titanium, hydroformed aluminium, air-hardening 631 and 853, and maraging stainless steel (Reynolds 953 – currently the strongest tube-set available to builders).

Restrap

Restrap products are made by cyclists, for cyclists. Riding is what we do. When it all began, we were spending our summers tackling the hills of West Yorkshire, putting our bikes and ourselves to the test. We passed - our bikes didn’t. Amazing views, climbs and descents were frequently spoiled by one thing: broken pedal straps. Back then, there was simply nothing on the market strong enough to withstand the forces and pressures of everyday riding. So we made our own. In the back bedroom of a house in Bingley, we designed, developed and produced our signature product, the diagonal strap. It was a success. Other cyclists began asking for the product, demand increased and Restrap was born. From these small beginnings, Restrap has gone from strength to strength, now producing a wide range of innovative, hard wearing cycling products. We know what cyclists want, understand those small but irritating riding problems - storage space, fluid intake, reliability - and we solve them with careful, functional designs. The environment is a key concern in all we do. Most of our products are still handmade in Yorkshire from recycled, locally sourced materials and always will be. Everything with the Restrap name on is both ethically and environmentally friendly whilst offering unsurpassed value for money and we remain proud of our Yorkshire roots which got us where we are today. We know that cycling is more than a sport. We recognise its importance in the lives of our customers and produce products that can be relied upon, trusted and enjoyed.

I build steel bicycle frames one at a time, by hand in a small workshop in central Bristol. My aim is to build bikes that are functionally as good as I can make them, built in the most rational way I can find whilst also retaining as much scope as possible for meaningful customization. I do try to make them look nice too, but believe there is more to a good bike than a pretty paint job.
