1. What defines your style as a framebuilder?

Lugged Reynolds tube main triangle - Strawberry design double plate investment cast fork crown - Strawberry design double plate style investment cast wishbone rear triangle with integral topstay seatpost binder are the main features.

2. Who, or what, has inspired you?

Upon graduation from the University of Washington School of Civil Engineering in 1970, I travelled to England to tour and race my bicycle. ·My interest in framebuilding developed after visiting several English Pro shops with the typical frame shop out back

3. Are you preparing anything special for Bespoked 2014?

At the UK Handmade Bicycle Show I'll have the Strawberry design investment cast fork crown, the cast wishbones and LAN71 tube mitre cutters we make in Portland in addition to a 650B road bike.

4. Where is your favourite place to ride?

My favorite place to cycle is probably Northern California along the Pacific Ocean, Sonoma Shoreline Hwy. 1, from the redwoods to San Francisco.

5. If you weren’t a framebuilder, what would you be?

If I had not gone for the framebuilding trade I would probably be a Civil Engineer.
